Mussels and the New Boat Sticker
Spread the Word! You have likely heard that Idaho has launched a new boat sticker program to fund the prevention of quagga and zebra mussels and other invasive species . While no one likes to pay a new fee, this one is here to stay. It always helps to know why the money is needed and what it is going to be spent on. So we have invited staff with the Idaho Department of Agriculture and Parks & Recreation and Representative Eric Anderson, the sponsor of the legislation, to talk with us about what quagga and zebra mussels are and how the money will be used. This is a also a great opportunity to share your feedback and suggestions to the folks in the state who are charged with running the program.
