Dispatch from Alta Harris Creek:  Skeets and a Skunk

Saturday evening looked like an appropriate time for a walk along Alta Harris Creek and about 2 cfs was flowing in the stream.  Photo above shows the habitat pool at the downstream end of the channel.  Vegetation along the banks has fully grown in.

The inspection was also remarkable for the amount of mosquitoes present.  But it was not the skeets that ended the walk, it was the skunk.  Mr. skunk was walking along the section of Alta Creek that was constructed and planted last December.
