Boy scouts plant willow along nearly 2,000 feet of stream at Jerry Glenn’s near Parma.  The willow cuttings and other rooted stock like cottonwood will provide shade to a drainage channel where siltation is trapped in a constructed wetland and pond system.  The channel flows directly into the Boise River and it’s cooler temperatures will be protected with the shade from plated willow.
