Take an early lunch Monday June 13 and check out the new episode of Trout Unlimited’s “On the Rise” television show including the Boise River.
The show premieres June 13 at 11 a.m. MDT on The Sportsman’s Channel, and there will be a viewing party at 11 a.m. Monday, May 2 at the Ram Restaurant at 709 E. Park Blvd in Boise.
The episode will feature the Ted Trueblood Chapter’s 2010 Trout Camp at Dutch Creek Guard Station.
Also included in the episode will feature local TU members Mike Toalson of Meridian taking “On the Rise” host Jed Fiebelkorn on a float fishing trip down the South Fork of the Boise River.
The anglers fished the river last summer and had some excellent fishing for large rainbow trout.
TU is currently working on projects to improve migration and rearing habitat on one of the South Fork’s tributaries.
