Two Views of Boise River Water Quality, the same day

Thanks for organizing a group from Trout Unlimited to participate in Watershed Watch. The event is Saturday, April 18 from 9:00 - 12:00 (or finish time). Attached is a poster and a map of your site location - on Eckert Road bridge. Please check back in with me when you have an estimated number of people who will participate. You or another member of your group who would like to lead the data collection and education should attend the “Train the Trainer” session Thursday, April 9, 12:00 – 1:00 pm at DEQ state office, 1410 N. Hilton, Boise, ID 83706, Conference Room A, lunch provided OR We have scheduled a TAC meeting to develop comments related to EPA’s partial disapproval of the Idaho’s Final 2008 303(d) list, including disapproving Idaho’s delisting of the Boise River from Indian Creek to the mouth for nutrients (AU:ID17050114SW001—06). Given that we do not have a regular monthly meeting in April, and the 30-day comment period is from March 25 through April 25, we expect that the TAC meeting will be focused on developing comments on the EPA disapproval that can be rolled into a letter, which will then be distributed to the Board for approval before the end of the comment period.
